A Trini Cookup
Same Kind of Tomorrow

When Ronnie LaRoche arrives from the city at his grandparents’ dilapidated cocoa plantation in the South in the late 1970s, he discovers three village boys, Selwyn, Dinesh, and Lim, playing on the premises and threatens to have them arrested for trespassing. When they agree to let him be in charge of their fun, he starts to show them around the plantation and its unused equipment.
But Ronnie starts resenting the country boys when he finds it increasingly hard to keep up, and is annoyed by their lack of deference to him. So he issues a challenging and dangerous dare to the others who are understandably hesitant. But Selwyn turns the tables on Ronnie, telling him to go first. Unwilling to be seen as a coward, Ronnie reluctantly takes the dare.
But when Ronnie falls and is so badly injured that he loses consciousness, Selwyn Dinesh and Lim are conflicted about leaving him and not telling anyone, since doing so would get them all in trouble. As the three boys argue about whether or not to save Ronnie, they face an important question...
